Hi,
Taking a deeper look into a previous post, what concept of the book would you like to see extended in Descent? Whether it is a new scene in a possible future version or part of a hypothetical expansion?
Saludos,

I really enjoyed reading Descent! Personally, I can see some influences from William Gibson and Lovecraft. I am very intrigued to know more about the sunken, is there a plan to write a follow-up novel digging into them? Keep up the great work!
The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.

Saludos skaperna,

En la última versión se añadió una escena adicional y se redondearon algunos textos respecto a la relación de ambos personajes. Ya nos dirás que te parece

Hi StoicRebellion,
From William Gibson I have tried to imitate the immersion style of his books: avoiding to explain the technology and terms to the readers and let them figure it out from the narrative. I also like his take on the language: the characters in his books don't speak like in our current present or, even worse, like man of letters from the past century!
And from Lovecraft well, there's the sunken. A clear homage to his stellar horror and fear of the unknown. They are the most dangerous antagonists in most of Calima Saga's games and books, although care little about the puny humans! As it can be seen in Calima Saga's timeline they will appear periodically, but will not be extended in Descent. However, If we reach our goal for a sequel I'm quite sure they will have some pages dedicated to them

Glad you liked the book! And yes, those are two of my inspiration sources.StoicRebellion wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 11:26 amI really enjoyed reading Descent!
